The students of Grade 1-2 participated in Poem recitation activity where they had to rhyme any poem in English of their choice. The students enjoyed this activity a lot and learn the basic rules of voice modulation and the importance of fluency. It improved the listening and observation/concentration skills of the children.
The students came well prepared with full enthusiasm to take part in the elocution competition, where they had to speak on either their super hero or their role model and inspiration. They spoke very well and also it enhanced their spoken skills and the vocabulary. It also boosted their self confidence to speak so that they can come out of their fear of talking.
The students could choose any topic based on which they had to write a story with a word limit of 500-600 words for Grade 5 & 6 and 600-900 words for Grade 7-10, supported by some related images being drawn/ painted to make it more attractive. The students had written very good and creative stories and that has enhanced their creative writing skills by all means.
Children were ready with all the materials required to make a simple greeting card and to write a short message of invite for their birthday and also, they designed it beautifully. This activity resulted in some beautiful creations by the little hands that so very well expressed their feelings & emotions of pure love for their parents. The cards were sent to the teachers for judgement.
The students were truly enthusiastic about this activity. They were excellently prepared with the required materials and created and designed some beautiful hand puppets, stick puppets and also finger puppets. It enhanced their creative aspect from within and also gave their artistic wings a full flight.
The students were excellently prepared for the debate competition where they contested against each group for two rounds. It was a beautiful culmination of their efforts, dedicated work and also homework. The presented well equipped points to speak in contrast and also their arguments were very well presented and well suited to the topic. It also boosted their self-confidence to speak so that they can come out of their stage fear.
