Classes Involved: All The Staff
Children's Day is celebrated across India to increase awareness of the rights, care and education of children. It is celebrated on 14th November 2020, every year as to commemorate the birthday of India’s first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, also known as Chacha Nehru among children. It is also believed that he loved children and roses very much. The day is a reminder that every child deserves an education, nurturing, and the best of everything. They are the building blocks of the nation and hence, the future of the nation depends on well they are brought up.
What a day indeed it was! The super enthusiastic teachers of MVJIS were all geared up to entertain their beloved students, organizing the event in campus. They did not let the pandemic hinder their way of showing their love and affection for their students. The students were all dressed up in their best party wear with bright shining faces, awaiting their teachers’ performances. The teachers planned beautiful games and performances for their students in order to make their day a very special one. The day was a fun-filled and colorful one and MVJIS felt satisfied to end the celebration on a positive note.
