Let’s take a moment to understand how Janmashtami is celebrated in our school. Our campus is adorned with vibrant decorations each year, and the spirit of devotion fills the air. Students and teachers participate in various activities, including dramas, dances, and art exhibitions, centring around Lord Krishna’s life and teachings. The traditional ‘Dahi Handi’ ceremony is a highlight, where students work in teams to break a pot filled with butter, just as Krishna and his friends did in childhood. On this Krishna Janmashtami, let us celebrate not only the birth of Lord Krishna but also the birth of these essential life lessons in the hearts and minds of our young learners.
