MVJ International School successfully conducted its Orientation Programme for parents of students from Montessori to Class X on 5th and 6th June 2026. The programme was thoughtfully designed to acquaint parents with the School’s academic vision, curriculum framework, teaching methodologies, student support systems, assessment practices, and the overall expectations for the new academic session.
The orientation served as an important platform to strengthen the partnership between the School and parents, reinforcing the shared responsibility of nurturing students’ academic excellence, character development, and holistic growth. Parents were introduced to the School’s learner-centric approach, which focuses on fostering critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication skills, and lifelong learning habits.
During the sessions, members of the academic leadership team and coordinators provided detailed insights into grade-specific curricula, assessment patterns, classroom practices, co-curricular opportunities, and student enrichment programmes. Special emphasis was placed on the importance of regular attendance, discipline, digital citizenship, effective study habits, and active parental involvement in supporting students’ educational journeys.
Parents were also briefed on the School’s initiatives aimed at promoting student well-being, social-emotional learning, and a safe and inclusive learning environment. The discussions highlighted the various support mechanisms available to students, including counselling services, career awareness initiatives, remedial support, and opportunities for talent development across academics, sports, arts, and leadership activities.
The programme provided an opportunity for parents to gain a deeper understanding of the School’s expectations and educational objectives while addressing queries related to academics, assessments, communication channels, and student development. The interactive nature of the sessions encouraged meaningful dialogue and fostered a stronger connection between the School and families.
The orientation programme concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the parent community for their enthusiastic participation and continued trust in the institution. The event successfully set the tone for a productive and collaborative academic year, ensuring that parents and educators work together to create a supportive and enriching learning experience for every child.
