The main focus of MVJ International School has always been on all round development amongst the students.
Accordingly our students were encouraged to participate in the Art Integrated Interschool Competition of level -1 with the topic Art forms of Paired States of Karnataka and Ladak
On successful selection of round -1 the senior students of grade -10, a batch of 10 students entered the second and final, Mega Inter-School CBSE Art-Integrated Competition-2023 - EBSB on 24th September 2023.
Students along with the guide teachers reported the venue – St. Joseph’s School (CBSE) Lavelle Road, Bangalore at 8:30 AM. The venue welcomed us with pleasant weather and all the amazing arrangements.
We climbed the stairs and reached fourth floor to the vast auditorium. We were given a warm welcome by Mrs. Rachel Shibani Perinchery , the CEO and Founder at My Master’s Strokes. Then, entered our mind-blowing, ever smiling, visionary, student’s friendly Principal of our school Mrs. Vamsheepriya Amar. Her warm hug was an energy booster to all the participants of MVJIS.
There were around 150 schools with 1500 students. Students have to depict the art of Ladak. Each team was given a white umbrella. The green flag was waved by the Chairperson of Bangalore Sahodaya.
The enthusiastic students were given 2 hours to exhibit their creative ideas. The worked in team and showcased a fabulous art work which was unbelievable. It was a treat to our eyes. The complete hall was astonished to watch the colour filled theme on umbrellas within the short span, The students gave a tough fight for the judges to judge, at last the results were out. We are proud to say that the students of MVJ International School bagged the 6th place. It was a great moment of celebration.
